Course Purpose:

 Students will analyze their social world by examining the how and why of various aspects of their daily lives.

SS.K.1 Students will investigate the need for and purpose of rules and analyze the roles and responsibilities of various authority figures in their social world.
SS.K.2 Students will distinguish the goods around them as wants or needs and determine the effects of environmental characteristics on people’s lives.
SS.K.3 Students will construct comparisons of life in the past with their lives today and confirm the significance of national holidays and the people associated with them.
