Course Purpose and Outcomes
Kindergarten
Course Purpose: |
Students will analyze their social world by examining the how and why of various aspects of their daily lives. |

1st Grade

Students will apply inquiry skills in order to evaluate how people live, learn, and work together. |

2nd Grade

Students will examine parts of their society collaboratively in order to determine their role in their families, neighborhood, and community. |

Students will evaluate the origins of Illinois in order to determine its role in our nation. |

7th Grade

Students will evaluate rules and laws at municipal, state, and federal levels in order to examine their societal impact. |

Students will critique significant global historical events in United States history in order to develop claims on societal issues. |
