Students will analyze the musical traditions of the world and will explore the connections between music, art, and composition. |

Students will improvise and compose, using standard and non-standard notation, musical and rhythmic phrases in various forms (to include theme and variations) using dotted eighth/sixteenth notes, triplets, and mixed meter. |
