Course Purpose: |
Students will read to learn while using complex text and connect reading, writing, listening, and speaking across all content areas. Students will construct different forms of writing in a three paragraph format. |

Students will determine the main idea in a central text or passage by making connections to events or ideas, and write a three paragraph informative writing piece that outlines the main idea, reasons, and evidence while collaborating with peers. |
