Course Purpose:

 Students will evaluate rules and laws at municipal, state, and federal levels in order to examine their societal impact.

SS.7.2 Students will analyze the origins, purposes, and principles of the United States Constitution as our plan of government and patriotism.
SS.7.3 Students will analyze economic reasons for exploration and expansion westward by evaluating components of financial literacy.
SS.7.4 Students will analyze the origins, purposes, and principles of the Illinois Constitution and show cultural and environmental characteristics of Illinois.
SS.7.5 Students will investigate arguments and explanations in order to create action plans within our school and community.
